Covid Summary Sept 29, 2023: Since the implementation of guidance published by both The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and in compliance with regulations from the New York State Department of Health the Wayne County Nursing Home has had a cumulative total of 250 positive COVID-19 resident cases which subsequently resulted in 11 resident deaths and 286  cumulative positive COVID-19 staff cases. Visitation continues to remain open to all but please refrain from visiting if you are ill. MASKING is currently NOT required as the Community Transmission Rate is NOT HIGH but masking is required for visitors on Garden Valley due to the recent cases.
