August 26, 2022 There are no new cases of residents or staff testing positive for Covid.

Since the implementation of guidance published by both The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and in compliance with regulations from the New York State Department of Health the Wayne County Nursing Home has had a cumulative total of 174 positive COVID-19 resident cases which subsequently resulted in 10 resident deaths and 207 cumulative positive COVID-19 staff cases. Visitation continues to remain open to all. However, there continues to be the requirement that all visitors complete and obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to their visit. Complete and comprehensive visitation guidelines continue to be prominently displayed which include the appropriate wearing of medical masks at all times.
