Covid Summary May 26, 2023:  There have been no cases of staff or residents testing positive for Covid-19 this week.   Since the implementation of guidance published by both The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and in compliance with regulations from the New York State Department of Health the Wayne County Nursing Home has had a cumulative total of 247 positive COVID-19 resident cases which subsequently resulted in 11 resident deaths and 285 cumulative positive COVID-19 staff cases. Visitation continues to remain open to all. VISITORS ARE NO LONGER ARE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN COVID 19 TEST PRIOR TO THEIR VISIT. HOWEVER, TEST KITS ARE AVAILABLE IF YOU ARE MORE COMFORTABLE DOING SO. MASKING is currently NOT required as the Community Transmission Rate is NOT HIGH. Complete and comprehensive visitation guidelines are posted at the front entrance.
