Covid Summary March 3, 2023: Since the implementation of guidance published by both The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and in compliance with regulations from the New York State Department of Health the Wayne County Nursing Home has had a cumulative total of 190 positive COVID-19 resident cases which subsequently resulted in 11 resident deaths and 257 cumulative positive COVID-19 staff cases. Visitation continues to remain open to all. However, there continues to be the requirement that all visitors complete and obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to their visit. Masking is currently required as the Community Transmission Rate is HIGH. Complete and comprehensive visitation guidelines are posted at the front entrance.
